MUL radio provides a platform for the students to build their communication skills and give them exposure to a working media environment. It intends to Increase awareness about the power and potential of radio. It not only encourages and inspire a positive use of radio but also formalises its operations so as to promote fairness, clarity and efficiency in its decisions. One of the functions of MUL radio is to broadcast programs about current affairs. MUL radio also broadcasts various entertainment programs such as comedy, dramas, documentaries etc. It also broadcasts programs about the environmental issues to create sensitivity about these issues and motivate listeners to take corrective measures.

Students will learn to communicate effectively. Demonstrate proficiency in scripting radio programs. Students will develop their creative voices. They will acquire a theoretical, historical, conceptual and critical understanding of radio.
